It makes this range hood easier to clean up than QS130ss. Another difference is that this model use centrifugal blower not the axial blade. Broan E66130SS has the effective air delivery with over 550CFM and is able to take all the air and heat over the range. When the range hood is working at boost speed, the sound level can reach 8.5 sones. Obviously, the 8.5-sones sound level isn’t quiet. But the other three fan speeds do have a quiet sound level. Apart from that, the recessed bottom along with forward filters maximizes the efficiency of air exhausting. E66130SS has a convenient feature – heat sentry. When this hood detects excess heat, it will automatically adjust the current fan speed to boost speed to take in all the heat. Many customers like its 5 minutes delay shut off feature. People don’t have to wait for the range hood to suck in all the gas before they have dinner. The hood will do the job well and turn itself off.
